We are currently seeking a new team member to join our Hospitality department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a stellar customer experience while assisting the hospitality team during unique events held at the Orlando Innovation Center in Orlando, Florida. Customer service and presentation of food are a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service to all guests. Outstanding time management, excellent attention to every detail and follow-through will ensure an amazing customer experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Warmly welcome guests. Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, polite, and responsive to guest needs.

  • Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.

  • Take direction from the Lead and/or Manager

  • Adhere to the weekly event schedule and times; be flexible to meet changing environment

  • Prepare and serve lunches to guests / meeting attendees

  • Ensure that all facilities are kept clean and presentable

  • Arrange tables/counters with food, beverages, and service items

  • Maintain the flow of beverages to ensure guests needs are met

  • Monitor and maintain all working area conditions and equipment to ensure they are within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper cleanliness, and safety.

  • Bring creative ideas and suggestions to the table

  • Ability to work in a fast and slow-paced environment; adaptable to rapid changes

  • Provide excellent guest service by addressing any concerns or special requests

  • Uphold operating procedures and service and safety standards, especially Guest Satisfaction

  • Provide clear communications within the team that are aligned with the business objectives and the Innovation Centers event strategy

  • Follow all internal processes and policies; and use internal technology systems effectively

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Who You are

  • Previous experience in hospitality

  • Dependable and reliable with attendance, punctuality, meeting deadlines and completing tasks

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule around customers’ needs

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • A friendly, professional appearance and attitude with guests and coworkers is essential

  • Impeccable attention to the details and anticipating guests’ requests
