SPECIALIST
We are currently seeking a new team member to join our Hospitality department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a stellar customer experience while assisting the hospitality team during unique events held at the Orlando Innovation Center in Orlando, Florida. Customer service and presentation of food are a key aspect of this role. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service to all guests. Outstanding time management, excellent attention to every detail and follow-through will ensure an amazing customer experience.

What You’ll Do

Warmly welcome guests. Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, polite, and responsive to guest needs.

Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to return.

Take direction from the Lead and/or Manager

Adhere to the weekly event schedule and times; be flexible to meet changing environment
-
Prepare and serve lunches to guests / meeting attendees
-
Ensure that all facilities are kept clean and presentable

Arrange tables/counters with food, beverages, and service items
-
Maintain the flow of beverages to ensure guests needs are met
-
Monitor and maintain all working area conditions and equipment to ensure they are within corporate standards for cleanliness, proper cleanliness, and safety.

Bring creative ideas and suggestions to the table

Ability to work in a fast and slow-paced environment; adaptable to rapid changes

Provide excellent guest service by addressing any concerns or special requests

Uphold operating procedures and service and safety standards, especially Guest Satisfaction

Provide clear communications within the team that are aligned with the business objectives and the Innovation Centers event strategy

Follow all internal processes and policies; and use internal technology systems effectively

Performs other duties as assigned
Who You are

Previous experience in hospitality

Dependable and reliable with attendance, punctuality, meeting deadlines and completing tasks
