NDE LEVEL III
ENGINEER
The successful candidate will join a team of Non Destructive Engineers with multiple Level III’s and years of experience. Proficiency in operating and reviewing Digital Radiography (DR) and Computed Radiography (CR) exposures is required. Experience in Computed Tomography (CT) is a plus. Certifications in multiple methods is desired but not required. Prepare, revise, review, and approve Non-destructive technique sheets including evaluation of supplier techniques and procedures. Develop and evaluate new equipment and technology. Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, programs, field personnel, and suppliers. Audit internal and external NDT inspection facilities. Participate in the development of NDT training course material for Levels I, II, and III. Candidate will have the opportunity to acquire ASNT Level III certifications in qualified methods.

Basic Requirements

Five (5) years minimum as RT Level II is required

Current ASNT Level III Radiography Certification or equivalent

ASNT IRRSP Certification or equivalent
-
Strong hands-on experience with digital/ computed radiography, and other certified methods

Additional Level II experience in other NDE methods is a plus
-
Must be able to certify by specific and practical examinations in currently certified Level III methods
-
Must be able to certify as Level II in all other qualified methods
-
Experience in developing and approving RT techniques

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and database utilization

Ability to work safely and adhere to company policies and procedures

Willingness to perform other duties assigned by the team lead

Good communication skills a must

Exhibit close attention to detail and provide accurate documentation

Who You are

US Citizen or Approved to work in the U.S.
-
* RT Level III with advanced Digital Radiography background with CT experience preferred
-
UT Level III with advanced Phased Array Ultrasonic experience
-
Casting House Supplier Quality Management experience to include subsequent Borescope, FPI, and X-Ray of the parts made by the casting house

Have passport or ability to obtain passport

Qualify for fitness of duty on all work sites including, but not necessarily limited to, passing both drug tests and background checks

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technology discipline or equivalent years of experience

Documented 10 years of non-destructive testing experience

Self-motivated and able to multi-task

Experience in nondestructive testing (NDT) of castings, forgings, weldments, composite structures, and bonded assemblies

Computed Tomography experience

Have full-body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and go up and down stairs

Able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs

Able to work on feet for extended periods of time

Able to walk and move about the Center to work with team members

Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
