As a Field Service Implementation Manager at Viable Engineering Solutions, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation and deployment of our field service solutions for clients. You will be responsible for all aspects of the implementation process, from project planning and coordination to client communication and team management. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a customer-centric approach.

What You’ll Do

  • Previous experience in Field Service Engineering is required.

  • Work closely with engineering and other teams to understand client requirements and project scope.

  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for successful implementation.

  • Work with the design team to ensure all implementation requirements are added to the design early in the developmental phase.

  • Hold engineering accountable for the development of easily maintainable and practical solutions.

  • Will oversee testing and validation plans to verify that project outcomes meet specified requirements.

  • Will oversee teams that provide onsite commissioning and installation of projects.

  • ·Develop on-site scheduling for fielding, qualifications, and testing.

  • Must have successfully worked with QA developed systems.

  • Experience supporting Warranty Work.

  • Coordinate resources, including internal teams and external partners, to ensure project delivery according to schedule and budget.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase.

  • Communicate project progress, updates, and any issues or challenges to clients in a clear and professional manner.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the implementation process.

  • Oversee the technical aspects of field service solution implementation, including configuration, integration, and testing.

  • Provide guidance and support to the implementation team, resolving technical issues and ensuring system functionality meets client requirements.

  • ·Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure successful deployment of solutions.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Assigns tasks to and coordinates work with other engineers, technicians, or administrative staff.

  • Manages day-to-day operations of Mechanical Department.

  • Document employee performance reviews on a recurring basis.

  • Hold recurring 1:1 meetings with all team members to review goal progress and performance.

  • Ensures all department employees’ timesheets are accurate and approves all timesheets by the deadline each payroll cycle.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

  • Must be able to see and walk around tight areas for long periods of time.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, preferably in field service solutions or a related industry.

  • Strong technical background with experience in software implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards project goals.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
